Beanie Baby Room
Due to the influx of additional babies, we needed to open a new infant room. Take the time to check it out when you come in. We love it. The feeling is homey and peaceful for our smallest infants. What a delight these little ones bring us. As you know, in our infants rooms, the babies rule. They set their own schedules and we do our very best to make them feel happy and well cared for.
We will have a picture posted soon.

Safari Room
Infant Room
Our goal in the infant room is to have a room full of happy babies. This is done through responding to their needs. We spend a lot of time just talking to the children and bonding with them. As you know, babies rule, they set their own schedule. We love watching the development of these little ones until they start to walk and are sturdy enough on their feet to make the big step to the one-year old room. It is a joy to see their minds explore new things (examining their hands and feet, turning a new toy around and around to check it out, tummy time, the steps to crawling and learning how to pull themselves up to stand). What a joy these little ones bring us. As you can tell we love our infants.

Bumblebee Room
The goal in the BumbleBee Room is to teach colors, letters, numbers, and get them ready for the more structured environment in the Frog Room. 2-yrs olds are alloted a large part of their day to creative play and free play. We work on their speech and communication. We try to avoid the terrible twos by making sure they are able to talk to us and communicate their needs. Their social and emotional behavior is also a big part of their growth. Learning to share and care about others is important for their development. Learning to wait and take their turn with different toys is also a part of their growth. They love taking walks around the center and visiting other classrooms and the administrators' office. We love to see them all pile in to see Ms. Debbie and Ms. Patricia. Most of these children we have watched grow from newborn to now.

Frog Room
3 and 4 year olds
In our frog room, the activities are stepped up since the children are now able to accomplish a great deal more. There is plenty of free time for the children to enjoy just playing. However, in preparation for school, there is more structured learning. It is important for them to just learn how to sit for a time and listen and follow instructions. They learn things that are common to everyday life: Days of the week, Months, What's the weather like today, etc. They are also working on the basics of Spanish. We hope when they go to school the prep work gives them a great start. Story time is an exciting time for the class. Story time is a special feature in this room. The stories just jump off the page for these eager little minds
